Giving back to the community is an important aspect of our society and many people across the globe are working to create a better world. Everywhere you turn there are non-profit organizations that desperately need help. According to the United States Department of Labor, 64.5 million people volunteered in 2012! If a quarter of the U.S. population prioritizes charitable work individually, don’t you think they would appreciate businesses that did the same?

More and more businesses are beginning to think about their carbon footprint and how what they are doing affects their society. Atlanta Cause Marketing & PR recognizes the importance of giving back – both individually and business wise.

Our team members have been involved with many various organizations with very diverse missions ranging from homeless shelters and transitional housing centers to healthcare organizations to animals and more. We have also made it our business to help other businesses get involved with charitable organizations of all kinds.

President Marilyn Pearlman has been a board member and hands-on PR representative for the World Trade Center Atlanta and the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International for nearly ten years. Her international interested have included the Atlanta Sister Cities Commission, the Friendship Force, the Georgia Council for International Visitors, Japan America Society of Georgia and the Georgia Indo American Chamber of Commerce. Junior Account Executive Melanie Beal has been involved with Decatur Cooperative Ministry, Habitat for Humanity DeKalb and the Appalachian Service Project.

In a business sense, Atlanta Cause Marketing & PR has gotten some of its most recent clients involved in corporate social responsibility campaigns. For the past two years, Copeland’s of New Orleans – Atlanta  has had a relationship with CURE Childhood Cancer through our cause marketing outreach with them, GreenTec Homes partnered with an elementary school in Macon, GA to donate hand-made Christmas ornaments to the Ronald McDonald House Charities, and Mosaica Education sponsored the CT Vivian Leadership Institute’s Male Scholars Program on a trip to Memphis, TN for the Freedom Awards Gala honoring their mentor, CT Vivian.
